UAE leaders greet Arab, Islamic world on Prophet’s birthday

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed forces, congratulated the Arab and Islamic nations on occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

 

Leaders urge Muslims to emulate Prophet’s (PBUH) manners and to believe that he was sent with a message of mercy, peace and love to all mankind.

 

Sheikh Mohammed tweeted: “On the birth anniversary of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), we highlight our love for him, remember the light that came with him, promise to always emulate his manners and believe that he was sent with a message of mercy to all mankind. May Allah let us drink from his honourable hand so that we will never be thirsty thereafter.”

 

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed tweeted: “The blessed birth of the Messenger of compassion, tolerance and peace. He laid the foundations of a righteous society and inspired a virtuous civilisation. His life continues to inspire mercy and kindness, and we pray on this day for peace and prosperity for all humankind.”

 

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, said he believes that the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is an occasion to draw lessons.

 

He tweeted: “The birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is an occasion for us to draw lessons from our prophet’s blessed biography and fragrant message. It is a station in which we invoke the true values of our true religion, his tolerance and his approach to building peace, love, peaceful coexistence, compassion and abidance by good morals.”

 

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, tweeted: “on the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), we recall the tolerant values that he instilled in us such as tolerance, goodness, love of knowledge and rejection of fanaticism, hatred and ignorance. May next anniversary bring more love, peace and coexistence.”
